Surrey Probation Area is one of 42 Areas in England and Wales that make up the National Probation Service which, together with Her Majesty’s Prison Service, forms the National Offender Management Service (NOMS).

Surrey Probation Area works closely with partners in the criminal justice system to ensure that the public are protected and reoffending is reduced.  As well as the Prison Service, our key partners include police; courts and sentencers; the Crown Prosecution Service; government agencies such as health, employment and education; local authorities; voluntary and private sectors; victims and communities.
