- Drug treatment
- Alcohol treatment
- Mental health treatment
Your consent is required for any of these treatments and you must be aged 18 or over.
Drug Treatment
The Drug Rehabilitation Requirement is an intensive order for offenders with a serious drugs problem. It involves random drug testing, supervision, programme attendance and counselling. The aim is to reduce and then stop your drug misuse.
You will be assessed beforehand to see what is the right treatment for you and you will begin this treatment immediately. You will attend appointments with your treatment provider and your Offender Manager during the Order.
You may undergo treatment for up to three years if you are on a Community Order, or for up to two years if you are on a Suspended Sentence Order.
