Operational Roles
We have a wide range of roles for those who have a genuine interest in working closely with people who have challenging and difficult behaviour. We provide excellent training to enable staff to develop their skills and expertise in these roles and provide opportunities for career development. Some of the duties covered by these specific roles are:
- Interviewing offenders
- Preparing reports and information for the courts
- Representing the Service in court
- Supervising offenders in the Community or within a residential hostel
- Arranging community work placements for offenders
- Supervising unpaid work by offenders in local communities
- Running groupwork programmes
- Communicating with victims.
Operational Posts | |
Offender Manager A | The minimum educational requirement for these posts is ‘A' level or equivalent. Some experience of working with people and good interpersonal skills are necessary. You will also need good written and oral communication skills. |
Programme Facilitator | For these posts you will need a professional qualification in psychology, education, groupwork, community care fields or equivalent and one year's relevant work experience post qualifying. |
